400 MHz PLL with 1:8 HCSL fanout for PCIe and QPI
The 9ZXL0851EKILF is a PLL-based clock generator from Renesas' DB800ZL "LITE" family, designed to generate a clean 100 MHz or higher reference clock for Intel QPI and PCI Express interfaces. It takes one differential clock input and fans it out to eight HCSL outputs, each capable of running up to 400 MHz. The 1:8 ratio means a single device replaces multiple smaller fanout buffers, saving board space and reducing the number of PLLs that need to lock to the same reference.
