1:6 LVCMOS fanout at 200 MHz
The 5PB1106CMGI is a 1:6 fanout buffer — one LVCMOS input drives six identical LVCMOS outputs, each capable of clock rates up to 200 MHz. The non-differential path (input and output are both single-ended LVCMOS) means this part fits designs where the reference clock is a standard CMOS oscillator or crystal-based source, not a differential pair like LVPECL or LVDS. A 1:6 fanout ratio lets a single master clock feed six loads — multiple FPGAs, ASICs, or SERDES devices — without adding a separate PLL or clock generator for each branch. The 200 MHz ceiling covers most gigabit Ethernet, PCIe Gen1/2 reference clocks, and general-purpose processor core clocks.
Wide supply rail and industrial temperature range
The 16-QFN package (2.5 x 2.5 mm body) is a compact footprint for dense PCB layouts. The exposed pad underneath provides a low-thermal-resistance path to the ground plane — important for dissipating heat when all six outputs toggle at 200 MHz simultaneously.
