Clock fanout for the 3.3V backplane
The 49FCT3805AQGI8 is a 1:5 fanout buffer from Renesas' 49FCT series, designed to distribute a single clock or data signal to five loads with matched propagation delays. Two independent 1:5 buffer circuits are integrated in the 20-SSOP package, giving a total of ten outputs from two inputs. The non-differential I/O (CMOS/LVTTL) means it interfaces directly with standard logic families without external termination resistors for differential pairs.
Signal compatibility and temperature grade
Both input and output are rated for CMOS and LVTTL levels, so the buffer accepts a 3.3V LVTTL clock from an oscillator or FPGA output and reproduces it as a clean CMOS-level signal to five fan-out loads.
