RoHS status — a sourcing constraint
That rules it out for any build requiring RoHS certification — consumer electronics, medical devices, and most EU-market equipment. It remains acceptable for military, aerospace, and industrial applications where leaded solder is still permitted or where a specific exemption applies. If your BOM calls for RoHS compliance, you will need to find a compliant SCR with similar ratings; the 03P2M itself is not an option.
Packaging and handling note
— loose parts in a bag or tube, not tape-and-reel. This is typical for through-hole SCRs and suits manual insertion or low-volume assembly. For automated pick-and-place, you would need a different packaging variant or a reel-compatible part.
