Dual-core architecture — what the 204 MHz buys you
The NXP LPC43S37JET100E is a 32-bit dual-core MCU pairing an ARM Cortex-M4 for application processing with a Cortex-M0 for real-time control or I/O offload, both clocked at 204 MHz. The asymmetric core split lets you run a protocol stack or control loop on the M0 while the M4 handles signal processing or the main application thread — no external companion controller needed for many dual-domain designs. 1 MB of on-chip Flash and 136 KB of RAM keep the BOM single-chip for firmware footprints that would otherwise require external memory on smaller MCUs.
Four 10-bit ADC channels and one 10-bit DAC cover basic analog sensing and control output — enough for a motor-current shunt or a setpoint voltage, not a multi-channel data-acquisition front-end.
