Product details

Dual-core architecture for mixed-tasking control

The NXP LPC43S37JBD144551 pairs an ARM Cortex-M4 for number-crunching and signal processing with a Cortex-M0 for real-time I/O housekeeping, both running at 204 MHz. The M4 handles the control loop and protocol stack while the M0 offloads bit-banged interfaces or periodic sensor polling — no interrupt jitter on the main core. 1 MB of Flash holds a dual-image bootloader plus application firmware; 136 KB SRAM leaves room for multiple packet buffers in an Ethernet gateway design. Connectivity spans Ethernet, dual CAN, USB OTG, multiple SPI/I²C/UART, plus an external bus interface for parallel peripherals. That covers a panel-mount PLC head or an industrial IoT edge node in one chip — no external PHY for the Ethernet MAC is the only add-on needed. Rated for -40°C to 105°C and 2.2 V to 3.6 V supply.

204 MHz — what it buys the BOM

At 204 MHz the Cortex-M4 runs a real-time control loop while servicing TCP/IP and CANopen stacks. The Cortex-M0 handles bit-level SPI transactions without slowing the M4.

Active production, normal supply

NXP continues to manufacture the LPC43xx series.

Package and mounting for panel integration

144-LQFP, 20×20 mm body, surface-mount only. The 83 I/O break out to the peripheral set. No external oscillator required.
