The NXP LPC4088FBD208K is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 microcontroller running at 120 MHz, with 512 KB of Flash program memory and 96 KB of SRAM. It carries a 4 KB EEPROM block for parameter storage that survives firmware updates. The 165 GPIOs in a 208-LQFP package give board-level routing flexibility for sensor arrays or HMI panels. Operating from 2.4 V to 3.6 V across -40°C to 85°C, it fits into factory-floor enclosures and outdoor telecom cabinets without a secondary heater.
NXP continues to manufacture the LPC40xx series, and no last-time-buy or end-of-life notice exists for this order code.
Package and mounting — 208-LQFP footprint
The 208-LQFP package measures 28×28 mm. The 165 GPIOs fan out on all four sides, so a four-layer PCB with a ground plane under the package is recommended to keep signal integrity on the Ethernet and USB differential pairs.
