120 MHz Cortex-M4 with a full peripheral set
The NXP LPC4078FBD100551 is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 MCU clocked at 120 MHz, with 512 KB of Flash and 96 KB of RAM on a single die in a 100-LQFP package. The 8-channel 12-bit ADC and single 10-bit DAC cover analog front-end needs without an external converter. On-chip brown-out detect, POR, DMA, and a PWM timer suit motor-drive or power-conversion loops.
The Ethernet MAC and USB OTG controller eliminate the need for separate PHY-management MCUs in a gateway design. The EBI/EMI interface supports glueless connection to external SRAM or NOR Flash if the firmware image or data buffer exceeds the on-chip memory — a feature the smaller LPC407x siblings lack.
LPC4078FBD100551 carries an active lifecycle status. No last-time-buy or end-of-life notice exists.
100-LQFP (14x14 mm) surface-mount package. Supply range 2.4 V to 3.6 V.
