180 MHz Cortex-M3 with on-chip Flash and EEPROM
The NXP LPC1815JBD144E is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 microcontroller running at 180 MHz, with 768 KB of Flash program memory, 136 KB of SRAM, and 16 KB of on-chip EEPROM. This combination suits control-loop firmware with moderate data logging or calibration tables that benefit from byte-addressable non-volatile storage without external EEPROM. The 2.2 V to 3.6 V supply range and industrial temperature grade (-40 to 105 °C) allow direct use in motor drives, outdoor telecom cabinets, and engine-bay controllers where extended thermal margins are required.
Peripheral set and connectivity
Eighty-three GPIOs are available on the 144-LQFP package. On-chip peripherals include CANbus, EBI/EMI, I²C, SPI, SSI, SSP, UART/USART, IrDA, Microwire, and SD card support.
