The NXP LPC1756FBD80K is a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 MCU from the LPC17xx series, clocked at 100 MHz with 256 KB of Flash program memory and 32 KB of RAM. That core speed sets the timing budget for the peripheral bus — at 100 MHz the AHB-Lite bus can sustain single-cycle access to the Flash accelerator, so tight loops in motor-control PWM or CAN message handling won't stall. The 52 general-purpose I/O lines give enough headroom for a modest HMI panel or a sensor hub without an external GPIO expander.
