The LPC1114JHN33/333551 integrates a brown-out detect/reset, power-on reset, and watchdog timer — the basic supervisory set for unattended operation. Communication interfaces include I²C, SPI, and UART/USART, which cover the majority of sensor and actuator protocols at this performance tier. The internal oscillator eliminates the need for an external crystal in non-precision timing applications, saving two pins and board area. For applications requiring USB or CAN, step up to the LPC11Uxx or LPC11Cxx families.
