10 µH at 400 mA — the DC-DC filter axis
The LQH43MN100K03L is a Murata drum-core wirewound inductor in the LQH43 series, delivering 10 µH ±10% with a 400 mA current rating and a 560 mOhm maximum DCR. The unshielded ferrite-core construction means the stray field radiates into the PCB — keep sensitive traces and ground pours a few body widths away to avoid coupling into the noise floor.
Self-resonance and Q — where the model breaks
The 23 MHz self-resonant frequency sets the upper bound for useful inductance; above this the part looks capacitive. The Q of 35 at 1 MHz tells you the AC loss factor at the test frequency — for a 500 kHz buck output filter the Q is adequate, but at 5 MHz the loss climbs and the effective inductance drops as the SRF is approached.
