2.7 µH drum core wirewound for RF and DC-DC filtering
The Murata LQH31MN2R7J03L is a 2.7 µH ±5% drum core wirewound inductor from the LQH31 series, housed in a standard 1206 (3216 Metric) surface-mount package. The unshielded construction means magnetic flux radiates from the core — keep it at least one part width away from sensitive analog traces or adjacent inductors to avoid coupling.
Self-resonant frequency and Q factor
Self-resonant frequency is 43 MHz, which sets the upper limit for inductive behaviour — above this frequency the part becomes capacitive. Practical use should stay well below 43 MHz, typically at 20–30 MHz or lower. Q factor is 35 at 10 MHz, giving a moderate selectivity for narrowband impedance matching in the HF band. Inductance is tested at 1 MHz, which is the standard reference frequency for this value range.
Temperature range and deployment context
The ferrite core material provides stable inductance over this temperature range, though DCR will rise with temperature per the copper winding's positive temperature coefficient.
Active production and sourcing posture
This part is still a valid BOM line for new designs.
