Last-buy sourcing angle
Murata has flagged the LQH31MN2R2J03L as Last Buy — the manufacturer has stopped accepting new orders for this part, and remaining production lots are being wound down. Any inventory we hold or can source is from the final production window or surplus channel, not an open-ended supply line.
What the ratings mean for a BOM line
The 140 mA current rating is the DC bias current at which the inductance typically drops by 10% — do not design this part into a rail that pulls more than 140 mA steady-state, or the effective inductance falls below the 2.2 µH tolerance band. 700 mOhm DCR at 140 mA produces about 14 mW of I²R loss — negligible in a power rail but enough to shift the self-resonant frequency if the inductor is used in a tuned filter at 50 MHz. The unshielded construction means stray flux couples into adjacent traces — keep a keep-out zone around the body in a dense layout, especially near sensitive analog or RF paths.
