33 µH shielded wirewound for automotive power and signal filtering
The Murata LQH2MPZ330MGRL is a 33 µH drum core wirewound inductor from the LQH2 series, shielded to contain magnetic flux and rated for surface-mount assembly in an 0806 (2016 metric) footprint.
Current, DCR, and self-resonant frequency — the selection axes
Rated 200 mA continuous with a saturation current floor of 310 mA — the inductor stays within its linear region up to that point; above it the inductance rolls off sharply. Maximum DC resistance is 5.16 Ohm, which sets the I²R loss at full rated current to roughly 0.2 W — the 0806 body dissipates that without exceeding the 105°C limit in still air. Self-resonant frequency is 15 MHz, tested at 1 MHz — above that the component behaves capacitively, so it is suited for DC-DC converter output filters and low-frequency EMI suppression below 10 MHz.
Shielded construction and 0806 footprint
The ferrite core and shield contain the field lines, reducing crosstalk to adjacent traces and allowing tighter component spacing on the board.
