1.5 µH shielded wirewound for power rail filtering
The LQH2MPN1R5NGRL is a Murata drum-core wirewound inductor rated 1.5 µH ±30% at 1 MHz, with a continuous current rating of 790 mA and a saturation current floor of 1.33 A. The 384 mOhm max DCR sets the I²R loss budget; at full rated current the self-heating is roughly 240 mW, which the 105 °C rating absorbs without derating in most ambient conditions.
Shielded construction and self-resonant frequency
Shielded ferrite core construction contains the magnetic field, reducing cross-coupling between adjacent inductors on a dense PCB — relevant for DC-DC converter input/output filtering where radiated noise couples into the sense line. The self-resonant frequency is 60 MHz, well above the switching frequency of most buck converters (2–5 MHz typical), so the inductor behaves as a pure inductance in the passband.
