Inductance, current, and DCR for the BOM line
The LQH2HPZ3R3MJRL is a 3.3 µH shielded wirewound inductor from Murata's LQH2 series, qualified to AEC-Q200 for automotive-grade applications. The 1.42 A continuous current rating and 1.45 A saturation current (Isat) are nearly matched, meaning the inductance holds up to within a few percent of the rated current before rolling off — useful for DC-DC converter output stages where the ripple current peaks near the load current. DC resistance is 156 mOhm max, which at 1.42 A gives a copper loss of roughly 0.31 W — within the thermal budget of the 1008 (2520 Metric) package at 105°C ambient. The 45 MHz self-resonant frequency puts the usable band well above typical 1–4 MHz switching regulators, so the inductor behaves as a pure inductance in that range.
Shielded construction and automotive qualification
Shielded ferrite drum-core construction contains the magnetic field within the component footprint — critical when the inductor sits next to sensitive analog or RF circuitry on the same PCB.
