The Murata LQH2HPZ2R2MJRL is a 2.2 µH ±20% shielded wirewound inductor in the 1008 (2520 metric) footprint, purpose-built for the input and output filter stages of automotive-grade switching regulators. Its 1.65 A continuous current rating and 1.7 A saturation floor mean the inductance holds within tolerance right up to the load step — the inductor does not roll off before the converter's peak demand.
DC resistance and self-resonant frequency — the trade-off
50 MHz self-resonant frequency places the inductor well above the 1–4 MHz switching range of most automotive buck converters, so the parasitic capacitance does not couple into the control loop.
