470 nH, 1.65 A — DC-DC input/output filter fit
The Murata LQH2HPNR47NJRL is a shielded drum-core wirewound inductor in the LQH2 series, rated 470 nH ±30% with a continuous current of 1.65 A. The 37.2 mOhm max DCR keeps conduction losses low enough that the part stays under the 105°C operating ceiling in a 1 A DC-DC rail — the self-heating from 1.65 A through that DCR is roughly 100 mW, well within the 1008 package's dissipation capability. Saturation current is 3.5 A, so the inductance holds within 30% of nominal up to more than double the rated current — useful for peak-load transients on a point-of-load converter where the inductor sees current spikes during load steps.
Self-resonant frequency and shielding
Self-resonant frequency is 190 MHz, well above the switching frequency of most buck converters (typically 500 kHz–2 MHz), so the inductor behaves as a pure inductance in the passband. The ferrite core and shielded construction keep the magnetic field contained — no crosstalk into adjacent signal traces on a dense mixed-signal board. The 1008 (2520 metric) footprint is a standard size for 2.5 × 2.0 mm inductors, and the 1.0 mm seated height fits low-profile designs like portable equipment or blade servers.
