Active 470 nH shielded inductor for DC-DC rails
The Murata LQH2HPNR47MGRL is a wirewound shielded inductor in the LQH2 series, rated 470 nH ±20% with a continuous current of 2.52 A. The 54 mOhm max DCR means the I²R loss at full load stays under 350 mW — the part runs cool enough in a 2.5 A buck converter that the self-heating doesn't push the core past its 85°C ceiling.
Saturation headroom and EMI control
Saturation current is 2.9 A, about 15% above the rated current — that headroom keeps the inductance from collapsing under transient load steps in a point-of-load regulator. The shielded ferrite construction contains the flux, so the inductor won't couple noise into adjacent traces or a nearby RF section. Self-resonant frequency of 120 MHz is an order of magnitude above the 1–3 MHz switching frequencies typical of small DC-DC converters, so the inductor behaves as a pure inductive element in-band.
Active lifecycle and sourcing posture
The LQH2HPNR47MGRL is a current-production part, sourced through authorized and independent distribution.
