Active production, shielded wirewound in 1008
The LQH2HPN3R3MDRL is an active-production Murata drum core wirewound inductor in the LQH2 series, shielded and rated for 3.3 µH at 1 MHz test frequency. It carries a 730 mA continuous current rating and a saturation current (Isat) of 750 mA — the two are nearly matched, so the inductor saturates at roughly the same current it thermally limits, meaning the usable current is the lower of the two. Maximum DC resistance is 540 mOhm; at 730 mA the I²R loss is about 288 mW, which the 1008 body dissipates without exceeding the 105 °C upper operating limit.
The ferrite core and shielded construction reduce radiated EMI into adjacent traces, which matters when the inductor sits near a sensitive analog or RF section on the same PCB. Self-resonant frequency is 45 MHz — well above the 1 MHz test frequency, so the inductor behaves inductively across its intended DC-DC converter switching range up to several MHz.
Sourcing and compliance
Available in tape-and-reel or cut-tape packaging; the base product number LQH2HPN identifies the family, and the suffix MDRL specifies the inductance value and tolerance.
