10 µH shielded wirewound for DC-DC filtering
The Murata LQH2HPN100MJRL is a 10 µH shielded wirewound inductor in the LQH2 series, built for surface-mount power filtering in compact DC-DC converter stages and signal-line choke applications. Rated at 490 mA continuous with a saturation current floor of 830 mA, the part handles steady-state rail current up to its rating and tolerates transient overloads nearly 70 % higher before the inductance collapses.
Self-resonant frequency and saturation margin
A 30 MHz self-resonant frequency means the inductor behaves as a pure inductive element well above typical 1–4 MHz switching regulators — the SRF sits far enough above the fundamental that parasitic capacitance does not degrade filtering at the switching frequency. The 830 mA saturation current is specified at the point where inductance drops by a defined percentage; for a 490 mA design target the 340 mA headroom covers start-up inrush and load transients without the inductor entering hard saturation. Shielded construction (ferrite core plus magnetic shield) contains the flux field — adjacent traces and components on a dense 1008-footprint board see minimal EMI coupling, which simplifies layout for noise-sensitive analog or RF sections.
Supplied on tape-and-reel or cut-tape; the 1008 case is compatible with standard pick-and-place nozzles and reflow profiles for lead-free soldering.
