560 nH, 600 mA shielded inductor for automotive and industrial DC-DC
The Murata LQH2HNHR56K03L is a shielded wirewound inductor in the LQH2 series, rated 560 nH ±10% with a 600 mA current rating and 74 mOhm DC resistance.
Self-resonant frequency and DC resistance
The self-resonant frequency is 230 MHz, well above the switching frequencies of typical buck converters (1-5 MHz), so the inductor behaves as a pure inductance in the passband without capacitive coupling. A DCR of 74 mOhm at 600 mA produces a conduction loss of about 27 mW — negligible in most designs, but worth factoring into the thermal budget for high-density boards where the inductor sits near other heat sources.
1008 footprint and board integration
The ferrite core and shielded construction reduce radiated EMI, critical for passing CISPR 25 conducted emissions in automotive designs.
