AEC-Q200 qualified for under-hood and chassis electronics
The Murata LQH2HNH680J03L is a shielded drum-core wirewound inductor in the LQH2 series, rated for 68 µH ±5% at 1 MHz.
60 mA current rating and 6.9 Ohm DCR — the thermal budget
Rated for 60 mA continuous current with a DC resistance of 6.9 Ohm. At full rated current the self-heating is I²R = 24.8 mW — negligible in a 1008 package on a standard FR4 board, but the DCR matters for the voltage drop in a low-voltage rail: 60 mA through 6.9 Ohm drops 414 mV, so this part is best suited for signal-path or bias filtering rather than high-efficiency power conversion.
Shielded construction and 12 MHz SRF
The ferrite core and shielded winding keep the magnetic field contained — the part does not couple noise into adjacent traces or components on a dense PCB. The self-resonant frequency of 12 MHz sets the useful bandwidth ceiling; above that the inductor behaves capacitively. For a 1 MHz switching regulator or a 10 MHz filter, the impedance is still inductive and the Q is usable.
1008 footprint and surface-mount assembly
The 1008 footprint is standard — the land pattern matches the IPC-7351 generic recommendation for this body size. Tape-and-reel packaging (Cut Tape also available) supports standard pick-and-place assembly.
Active production — no end-of-life watch needed
Listed as Active by Murata. The LQH2 series is a standard Murata product line with broad distribution coverage — no single-source risk for this order code.
