56 µH shielded inductor for automotive and industrial DC-DC stages
The Murata LQH2HNH560J03L is a 56 µH drum-core wirewound inductor in the LQH2 series, rated for 65 mA continuous current with a DC resistance of 6.1 Ω. The 6.1 Ω DCR is the dominant source of I²R loss at full load — at 65 mA the copper loss is about 26 mW, which must be accounted for in the thermal budget of a compact 1008 footprint. Shielded construction reduces radiated EMI, making this part suitable for noise-sensitive circuits such as sensor front-ends or RF power supplies where stray magnetic fields could couple into adjacent traces.
AEC-Q200 qualification and temperature range
Rated AEC-Q200, this inductor meets the automotive stress-test sequence for passive components — thermal shock, moisture resistance, mechanical shock, and vibration. The self-resonant frequency is 12 MHz, so the inductor behaves inductively well below that point — useful for switching regulators switching at 1–2 MHz where the impedance stays predominantly inductive and the Q is still meaningful.
Tape-and-reel packaging is available for volume assembly.
