Murata's DFE252010F-R22M=P2 is a shielded drum core wirewound inductor from the DFE252010F series, built for DC-DC converter input/output filtering and power rail smoothing in space-constrained designs. Rated 5 A continuous with a 7.2 A saturation current — the core holds inductance until 44% above the rated load, which gives headroom for transient current spikes in a buck converter output stage. Maximum DC resistance is 16 mOhm; at 5 A the I²R loss is 0.4 W, manageable in the 1008 footprint without exceeding the 125°C rated operating temperature.
