330 nH at 4.7 A — the power rail workhorse
The Murata DFE201610P-R33M=P2 is a shielded drum-core wirewound inductor rated for 330 nH ±20% with a continuous current of 4.7 A. The 34 mOhm max DCR keeps I²R losses low in a DC-DC output filter or power rail — at 4.7 A the self-heating is under 0.75 W, well within the 0806 footprint's thermal budget. The iron-powder core material saturates at a higher flux density than ferrite, so this inductor holds its inductance better under transient current spikes — useful in point-of-load converters feeding FPGAs or processors that draw fast load steps.
Board-fit and temperature range
The shielded construction reduces radiated EMI, so it can sit next to sensitive analog or RF traces without coupling issues. The tape-and-reel packaging supports automated pick-and-place for volume assembly.
