The Murata DFE18SANR24ME0L is a 240 nH shielded power inductor in the 0603 (1608 metric) footprint, rated for 3.2 A continuous with a saturation current of 4.2 A. The metal-alloy core and shielded construction keep the magnetic field contained, so it sits next to sensitive traces or other magnetics without coupling noise into the rest of the supply rail.
DC resistance and current handling
Maximum DC resistance is 36 mOhm — at 3.2 A the I²R loss is about 370 mW, which the 0603 body dissipates without exceeding the 85°C ambient ceiling. The 4.2 A saturation current gives headroom for transient peaks in a buck converter output stage before the inductance drops off.
