1 kOhm suppression at 100 MHz in a 0402 footprint
The BLM15BD102SH1D is a single-line ferrite bead from Murata's EMIFIL BLM15 series, presenting 1 kOhms of impedance at 100 MHz. That impedance peak is where common-mode noise from switching regulators, clock lines, and digital buses lives — 100 MHz is the sweet spot for suppressing conducted emissions from 48 MHz to 200 MHz harmonics. The single-line differential-mode topology means one bead per noise source — no shared suppression between lines.
Active production — no design-in gate
Murata lists this part as Active. For a new board spin or a BOM refresh, there is no lifecycle-driven reason to second-source it preemptively.
