Automotive-grade TVS for 33V rail clamping
The SMCJ33AQ-13-F: It clamps transients to 53.3V maximum at 28.1A peak pulse current, protecting downstream electronics on a 33V nominal rail. The -55°C to 150°C junction temperature range covers the full automotive ambient envelope with margin for self-heating during a surge event.
Housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) package, the SMCJ33AQ-13-F uses the same footprint as the standard SMCJ series — the cathode band and unidirectional marking are on the body. The SMC package's copper tab on the bottom side conducts heat into the PCB pad; a 12 mm² copper pad on the top layer keeps the junction temperature rise within the 150°C limit during a 1500W pulse. Supplied on Tape & Reel — the 13-inch reel quantity is standard for SMC packages. The part is RoHS-compliant and halogen-free per Diodes' standard material declaration.
