1.5 kW bidirectional TVS for 110 V rails
The SMCJ110CA-13: Its 110 V reverse standoff voltage (Vrwm) and 122 V minimum breakdown voltage (Vbr) make it a fit for protecting 110 VDC or 110 VAC (peak) power buses, signal lines, and telecom interfaces from transient overvoltage events. The clamping voltage is held to 177 V maximum at the rated 8.4 A peak pulse current (Ipp), which defines the voltage the downstream circuitry must survive.
Housed in the DO-214AB (SMC) package, the SMCJ110CA-13 is a surface-mount device with a standard footprint shared across the SMCJ series. Supplied on Tape & Reel (TR), it suits automated pick-and-place assembly for medium to high-volume production runs.
The wide temperature window also simplifies qualification across multiple product platforms sharing the same TVS BOM line.
