600 W bidirectional TVS for 70 V rails
The SMBJ70CA-13-F: Its 77.8 V minimum breakdown voltage ensures it stays clear of the rail under steady-state conditions, while the 113 V maximum clamping voltage at 5.3 A peak pulse current (10/1000 µs waveform) limits the voltage spike seen by downstream components. This is a general-purpose protection diode suited for clamping overvoltage events on DC power buses, signal lines, and I/O ports in industrial controls, telecom gear, and consumer electronics where a 70 V working voltage is present.
Housed in the DO-214AA (SMB) surface-mount package, the SMBJ70CA-13-F occupies a standard footprint with a low profile suitable for dense PCB layouts. The SMB package is widely second-sourced, making the diode easy to place in a BOM without unique pad geometry.
It is available in Tape & Reel (TR) and Cut Tape (CT) packaging options, suiting both high-volume reflow assembly and prototype or low-quantity builds.
