600W bidirectional TVS for automotive 28V rails
The SMBJ28CAQ-13-F: Reverse standoff voltage is 28V; clamping happens at 45.4V max with a peak pulse current of 13.2A. Breakdown voltage min is 31.1V, giving a sharp clamp knee. The bidirectional channel handles both positive and negative transients on the same line — no orientation needed.
AEC-Q101 and 150°C junction — under-hood ready
Qualified to AEC-Q101, the automotive discrete stress standard. DO-214AA (SMB) surface-mount package, same footprint as the standard SMBJ series. Power line protection is not supported — this part is a signal-rail or low-power bus clamp, not a mains surge suppressor.
Active production — no end-of-life shadow
Supplied in Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT) options. Base product number is SMBJ28; the Q suffix marks the automotive AEC-Q101 variant.
