Protection window — 28V rail, 45.4V clamp

With a 28V reverse standoff voltage and a minimum breakdown of 31.1V, this TVS sits on a 24V automotive bus without conducting at nominal — it only starts clamping above 31V. The 45.4V clamp at 13.2A (10/1000µs waveform) keeps the downstream 40V-rated silicon safe during a load-dump or alternator-field decay transient.
