The SMAJ90A-13: When the protected rail exceeds the breakdown threshold (100V min), the device clamps at 146V maximum, shunting up to 2.7A peak pulse current away from the load. The 90V standoff sits just above common 72V or 80V DC bus rails in industrial power supplies, telecom rectifiers, and battery-management circuits — the TVS stays transparent during normal operation and only conducts during a transient event.
Active, surface-mount, wide temperature range
Housed in the DO-214AC (SMA) surface-mount package, the SMAJ90A-13 operates across -55°C to +150°C junction temperature, covering the full industrial and automotive under-hood temperature envelope.
