The SMAJ36CAQ-13-F: The -55°C to 150°C operating junction range covers under-hood and engine-bay thermal profiles — the die itself can sit at 150°C junction without derating the 400W pulse. Housed in the DO-214AC (SMA) package, it uses the standard JEDEC footprint for a 2-lead surface-mount TVS. The SMA body is a common pick-and-place package; the exposed metal tab on the cathode side carries the heat into the PCB copper pour. No power line protection on the internal structure — it is a pure transient clamp, not a filter.
