Automotive-grade transient suppression for 28V rails
The SMAJ28AQ-13-F: It clamps transients at 45.4V maximum while conducting 8.8A peak pulse current — the clamping voltage is what the downstream IC actually sees, so a 28V-rated rail needs a TVS whose clamp stays below the IC's abs-max rating. The -55°C to 150°C junction temperature range covers under-hood and engine-bay deployment where ambient can hit 125°C with self-heating margin.
Package and board-fit for automated assembly
Housed in a DO-214AC (SMA) surface-mount package, the SMAJ28AQ-13-F uses the standard SMA footprint with the cathode band marking orientation.
