Housed in the standard DO-214AC (SMA) surface-mount package, the SMAJ24CAQ-13-F uses the same 2.6 mm × 4.3 mm footprint as other SMA-packaged TVS diodes. No power line protection is claimed — this is a signal- or low-power rail clamp, not a mains-side suppressor. For a 24 V automotive bus (e.g., ISO 7637-2 pulse 1, 2a, 3a/b), the 38.9 V clamp keeps the downstream electronics within the typical 40 V abs-max of common 24 V-rated ICs.
