Bidirectional clamping and package fit
Single bidirectional channel with a 20 V minimum breakdown voltage — one device protects both positive and negative transients on a data or signal line, saving board space versus two unidirectional parts. Housed in the DO-214AC (SMA) surface-mount package, it shares the standard footprint of the SMAJ family. The tape-and-reel supply supports automated pick-and-place for volume assembly. No power line protection means this TVS is intended for signal and low-power data lines, not for DC power buses or AC mains.
