400 W bidirectional TVS in a DO-214AC footprint
The SMAJ100CA-13-F: Packaged in the standard DO-214AC (SMA) surface-mount footprint, it fits a single-layer reflow profile common to low-power auxiliary supplies, I/O lines, and DC bus protection where the 100 V standoff matches the rail voltage.
Clamp voltage and standoff — the protection window
The reverse standoff voltage is 100 V — the rail can ride at this level continuously without the diode conducting leakage. That 62 V window between standoff and clamp means a 100 V bus sees no conduction during normal operation, but a transient that drives the line above 111 V gets clamped before it reaches 162 V. The single bidirectional channel protects both polarities with one device — useful for AC signal lines or DC rails where reverse-voltage events are possible. The power line protection flag is marked 'No', which is typical for this class: it is a secondary transient suppressor, not a primary mains protector.
The base product number is SMAJ100, so the same die and package platform is shared across the SMAJ family.
