Diodes Incorporated lists the SMAJ100AQ-13-F as Active, meaning the manufacturer continues to support it for both new and existing designs.
Transient protection parametric — what the ratings mean for the BOM
Breakdown occurs at 111V minimum, providing a guard band before the clamping event. For a downstream component rated at, say, 180V, this clamp provides margin; for a 150V-rated part, the margin narrows and a higher-power TVS or a series resistor may be needed. Single unidirectional channel — this device protects one rail against positive transients relative to ground. For bidirectional or AC-line protection, two devices or a bidirectional variant would be required.
