Obsolete — last-time-buy sourcing
The P6KE180CA-T: The 600 W peak pulse rating (10/1000 µs) and 154 V reverse standoff define the protection window; a functionally equivalent part from another manufacturer would need to match or exceed these numbers.
Clamping and breakdown — what the ratings mean
The reverse standoff voltage is 154 V — the rail it protects should never exceed this under normal operation. Breakdown occurs at 171 V minimum, and the clamping voltage at peak pulse current (2.4 A) is 246 V maximum. That 246 V clamp is the voltage the downstream circuitry must survive during a transient event.
Package and temperature envelope
Supplied in DO-204AC (DO-15) axial-lead package, through-hole mount. The Tape & Reel format suits automated insertion for high-volume builds.
