The Coilcraft LPS5015-473MRC is a 47 µH shielded drum-core inductor rated for 450 mA continuous current with a saturation current floor of 460 mA. Shielded construction keeps the magnetic field contained, reducing EMI coupling to adjacent traces in a dense PCB layout. The 18 MHz self-resonant frequency means the inductor behaves as an inductor well into the switching-frequency range of most buck converters — above 18 MHz the parasitic winding capacitance starts to dominate.
