Automotive-grade clamping and surge rating
The minimum breakdown voltage of 40.9V ensures the TVS starts conducting before the protected IC's internal ESD structures trigger. The single unidirectional channel is polarity-sensitive — the cathode band on the DO-214AB SMC package must face the positive rail. Power line protection is not provided, so this device is intended for signal or low-power supply lines, not for direct mains or high-current bus clamping.
