Dual PGA with 279 MHz bandwidth — what it means on the bench
The MAX9939AUB+T is a dual-channel programmable gain amplifier with 279 MHz gain-bandwidth product and 9V/µs slew rate. Supply range runs from 2.9 V to 5.5 V.
279 MHz GBW — where the bandwidth matters
279 MHz gain-bandwidth is the headline number. The 9V/µs slew rate supports full-power output swings up to a few megahertz before slew limiting sets in.
Package and footprint — 10-uMAX/uSOP
The part comes in a 10-pin uMAX/uSOP package (3.00 mm body width, 0.118" pitch). That is the same footprint as a standard MSOP-10; the land pattern is shared across many Analog Devices parts in this family. Surface-mount only — no through-hole variant exists. The 10-uMAX is a common size for signal-chain ICs, so the board layout is straightforward if you have used any MSOP-10 part before.
