Current sense amp in a 10-uMAX footprint
The MAX9923TEUB+ is a single-channel current sense amplifier from Analog Devices, packaged in a 10-uMAX/uSOP (3.00 mm width) surface-mount package.
50 kHz bandwidth, 0.4 V/µs slew rate
The -3 dB bandwidth of 50 kHz and slew rate of 0.4 V/µs set the usable frequency range for current sensing — above 50 kHz the gain rolls off, so the part is suited for DC and low-frequency AC current monitoring rather than high-speed transient capture. Supply current is 780 µA typical, and the input bias current is just 1 pA — the bias current is negligible compared to the shunt voltage drop, so the measurement error from the amplifier input is dominated by the 0.2 µV input offset voltage, not the bias.
