Single-supply comparator with 820 ns propagation delay
The MAX975EUA+T is a single-element general-purpose comparator from Analog Devices, offered in an 8-uMAX/uSOP surface-mount package.
820 ns propagation delay and 4 mV hysteresis
The built-in 4 mV hysteresis prevents output chatter near the switching threshold — useful when comparing a slowly moving analog signal against a fixed reference. The output stage is CMOS, rail-to-rail, and TTL-compatible, so it drives logic inputs directly without a pull-up resistor. Quiescent current is capped at 500 µA maximum, keeping the thermal budget low in a densely populated board. The 82 dB CMRR and 90 dB PSRR mean the trip point shifts minimally with common-mode voltage or supply ripple.
