1.74 Gbps serial link, 14 parallel outputs
The MAX96706GTJ/V+T is a GMSL deserializer that takes a single 1.74 Gbps CML serial input and fans it out to 14 CMOS or LVCMOS parallel outputs — the link budget for a 720p or 1080p camera video stream at 30 fps over a single coax or STP cable. The 1.74 Gbps data rate is the full serial-link ceiling; the actual pixel clock and resolution depend on the serializer at the other end and the parallel bus width the host SoC or FPGA expects.
Automotive-grade silicon — AEC-Q100 and 115 °C ambient
AEC-Q100 qualification means the part passed the full automotive stress battery: high-temperature operating life, temperature cycling, ESD, latch-up, and parametric drift screening across the -40 to +115 °C operating range. The Automotive grade is the main differentiator from the commercial MAX96706GTJ+ — same die, same package, but the commercial variant skips the AEC-Q100 screening and the 115 °C rating.
Dual supply rails — core and I/O independent
The I/O supply range also covers 2.5 V logic, though that rail is less common in automotive camera modules.
The part is available in Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT) — the TR quantity is the standard reel for automated pick-and-place; CT is for prototype or low-volume builds.
