Two comparators, 7 ns propagation delay
The MAX962EUA+T packs two general-purpose comparators into an 8-uMAX/uSOP package. Each channel delivers a 7 ns typical propagation delay—fast enough for overcurrent detection, zero-crossing circuits, and high-speed window comparators in industrial control loops. The CMOS/TTL output stage drives logic inputs directly without a pull-up resistor.
Supply range and noise rejection
Operates on a single supply from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, or split supplies with the same total span. The 80 dB CMRR and 86.02 dB PSRR keep threshold errors low when the supply rail sags or common-mode noise rides the input—relevant for sensor front-ends in -40°C to 85°C environments. Input offset voltage maxes at 1.5 mV at 5 V; input bias current stays under 15 µA.
3.5 mV hysteresis, no external parts
Built-in 3.5 mV hysteresis eliminates output chatter near the trip point without extra resistors. For a comparator used in noisy industrial environments, that saves two passives per channel and shrinks the BOM count.
Active, ROHS3, tape-and-reel
Lifecycle status is Active—no end-of-life notice, no last-time-buy clock ticking. ROHS3 compliant. Supplied on tape and reel (cut tape also available); the 8-uMAX/uSOP footprint matches standard MSOP-8 land patterns. Quiescent current maxes at 9 mA for both channels combined.
