Serializer for automotive video links — 2.5 Gbps on a single coax
The MAX9259GCB/V+ is a GMSL serializer from Analog Devices that converts 30 parallel CML inputs into a single 2.5 Gbps serial CML output stream. It is designed for automotive camera and display links where a single coaxial or STP cable carries the video, control, and power. AEC-Q100 qualification (Grade 1 implied by the -40°C to +105°C operating range) means this part is screened for the under-hood thermal profile — the 105°C ceiling covers the engine-bay ambient after derating, not just the cabin.
64-TQFP exposed pad — thermal and layout demands
The 64-TQFP exposed-pad package (10x10 mm body) requires a thermal land on the PCB to pull heat from the die. The CML I/O levels are set by the same supply.
